“THE MIDDLE GROUND BETWEEN WOMEN AND A CHILD”
Lauren House- a child at heart. I wanted to capture this side of Lauren so I came to the idea of clothes that bring you back to being a kid; clothes that show “the middle ground between a women and a child.”
The clothing is representative of wonder, color, and the freedom of a child. I wanted the setting to reflect this too. Some of the photos are taken in the streets of a neighborhood; while others are in the middle of nowhere.
My hope for this is to mimic a child’s imagination. One of the biggest challenges was trying to find a balance between serious and playful.
THE SIMPLE LIFE
Meet Sal, a Terlingua local. I followed Sal around for a day in his “normal life” but it is anything but normal. I captured a few photos of his everyday life. Thanks Sal!
VERVE COFFEE
Every morning at work, I fill up the coffee grinder with Verve coffee beans. I have used this coffee to make countless different drinks and the flavor receives countless compliments. This is where I got my idea behind this project; I wanted to show how many different ways there are to drink a cup of Verve coffee. I hope that after seeing these the viewer will want to try a cup.
